Ray Charles Brownlee

Ray Charles Brownlee born to Velma and Montgomery Brownlee on July 16, 1955 in Starkville, Ms. The heavens then rejoiced on August 11, 2017 when God added Ray Charles Brownlee to His Band of Angels. 

Preceding Ray Charles Brownlee in death are his parents, Velma and Montgomery Brownlee; Extended Family, Ruthie and Henry "Mr. Boot" Rushing, One brother, Edward Brownlee; a niece, Keierra Hardiman. 

Brownlee early years were spent in Starkville, MS. before moving to Pascagoula, MS. He excepted Christ at an early age. He was a 1973 Graduate of Carver High School/ Pascagoula Negro High School. Brownlee enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved music and sports. He was a True Steelers Fan and during Football Season you knew he was somewhere in front of a T.V. Ray love for music would often catch him riding his bike with a "BIG BOOM BOX" in his hand. Brownlee was a kindhearted man and many of his friends often spoke of his kindness. 

Those who cherish his memory are his sisters Barbara Brownlee Harris, Dorothy Brownlee, Mary Frances Brownlee-Rayfield and Rebecca Brownlee; Extended sister, Shirl Williams, two brothers, Carl Brownlee and Donald Brownlee; two aunts, Doris Brownlee and Bernice Brownlee; one uncle, Bill Brownlee, three devoted friends, Susie Bivins, Robert Jones and James "Renn" Fairly; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends..
