Annie Myriah Sims

Annie Myriah Sims, 61, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 in Ocean Springs, MS.  

Ms. Sims was born August 15, 1958, in Citronelle, AL to the late Rev. Charles E. Sims, Sr. and the late Mary Elizabeth Williams Sims-Nelson. She loved being around family and friends and believed in being a blessing to everyone she encountered.  She was affectionately known as mama, granny, sister, and friend to many.  She is survived by a daughter, Delinda Sims of Ocean Springs, MS and her three children, Damarion, Kingston, and Harlynn; a son, Justin Sims (Zay) of Orlando, FL; a son, Jaquez Piernas of Ocean Springs, MS; and a son, Lavee Sims of Ocean Springs, MS; a sister, Alinda Sims Hunter (late Hollis Hunter); a brother, Charles Sims, Jr.; and a sister, Missouria Ann Sims.
