Mr. Curley Bryant was born November 28, 1936 in Sunflower, Alabama to his late parents, Mr. Hebert and Olevia Bryant.
He transitioned from this earthly life into eternal rest to be with the Lord on Friday, July 26 at 12:42p.m. surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Mr. Bryant maintained many jobs throughout his life to provide for his family. He was a Crane Operator for Ingalls Shipbuilding for 43 years until retiring in 2001. He was and still is loved by many; he loved to jank and make others laugh and was a joy to be around.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Jean Crear-Bryant; son, Charles Hurst; his siblings, Grady Bryant, Willie Bryant, Hebert Bryant; sister, Ozeil Yvonne Bryant Fisher; and nephew, Fredrick Smith.
His memories will forever be cherished by his daughters, Marilyn (Charles) Richardson and Sonja Bryant of Moss Point, MS; grandchildren, Tonja (Larry) Mitchell, Moss Point, MS, Cheryl (Taufoya) Nelson, Houston, TX, Kristal Ward, LaToya Johnson, and Charles Anderson; seven great-grandchildren, Rosilyn, Cassius, Kiara, Destinee, Jaylin, Cierra, and Taufoya, Jr.; six great-great grandchildren, J’Quan, Jayden, Markielan, Karson, Aubree, and BJ; sister, Talvesha (Barry) Glaude; sister-in-law, Leatha Bryant; godson, Daryl Poole; devoted nieces and nephews, Antreshia Bryant, Charity (Randy) Jones, Chasity (Dominic) Houston, Amanda (Al) Shaw, Angela (Ronald) Goins, Pamela Taite, Beverly (Marion) Taite, Grady Bryant, Anthony Bryant, Rodney Nettles, Donald Bryant, Brinfus Lee Crear, and Charles Taite; Special and devoted lifelong friends, Sam Free, Johnny Leverson, Wesley Williams, Willie (BallGame) Nettles, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbors.
