David Lester Butters

David Lester Butters Sr., born in Mobile, Alabama on January 31, 1943, and passed from this life on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at his home in Big Point, MS surrounded by his loving family.

Dave is survived by his wife Priscilla "Prissy" Butters, his children Gary DeWayne Butters, David Lester Butters, Jr (Jenny), Patricia Anne Self (Scott), Stacey Lynn Butters, Christopher Lee Butters (Jamie), and his stepchildren Wendy Marie Jones (Chad Faulkner), and Major "Scotty" Vann III (Amber Ivey). He is also survived by his siblings William Allen Butters (JoAnne), and Laura Jean Griffith (Rev. Roger). Dave has been blessed with many grandchildren whom will miss their Pawpaw deeply. 

Dave was preceded in death by his father James Atley Butters, mother Mary Estelle Grithith, and sister Barbra Susan Hale. 

Dave has enjoyed his retired life tending to his chickens and spending time with family on the houseboat.
