Denika Peters

Denika “Dee Dee” Peters, 39, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018,at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, Mississippi. She was born October 23, 1978, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, to Patricia Peters and the late Sylvester Peters. She had been a resident of both Pascagoula, Mississippi, and Huntsville, Alabama.

Denika was employed by Singing River Hospital of Pascagoula, Mississippi, as a Nutritionist, for several years. Denika was a social butterfly who loved people, and was loved by all, with a beautiful contagious smile that would light up a room.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sylvester Peters; paternal grandparents, Cohen Nelson and Hattie Nelson; and maternal grandparents, Corean Peters and L.C. Peters.
Denika is survived by her two loving daughters, Miyala Peters and Tamerian Peters. She also leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Patricia Peters; and one brother, Cedric (Leilani) Barret. Dee Dee will also be fondly remembered by a host of other relatives and friends.
