Everett Stokes Jr.

Mr. Everett Stokes Jr. transitioned from his earthly home to his heavenly home, on Friday, December 20, 2019.  Everett was a resident of Moss Point, MS for the past 70 years.  He was employed with Ingalls as a truck driver and crane operator for over 27 years until his retirement in 2012.  He also was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Everett is preceded in death by: his parents, Everett Stokes Sr.  and Ora Mae Stokes; his daughter, Diana McLain; and two sisters, Francis Taylor and Patricia Wescovich.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his devoted and loving wife of 40 years, Sharon Stokes; his son Dewey (Sophia) Stokes; his daughter, Kimberly Cooper; his brother Reggie Stokes; his two sisters, Marie Mathieu and Marthie Murphy;  seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and special friends that will miss him dearly.
