Jimmy Edwards

Jimmy Dell Edwards passed away in his home surrounded by family on May 22nd, 2019. Born June 14th, 1947, Jimmy Dell served three tours in Vietnam, before returning home to Mississippi.  Funny, kind, and very courageous, when asked why he served three tours in Vietnam, instead of just one, he simply stated that it didn't feel right leaving his friends behind not knowing what would become of them. Jimmy Dell loved playing dominos and penny poker with family. Jimmy Dale Edwards is preceded in death by his father, George V. Edwards; his mother Iver G. Clark-Edwards; one sister Janelle Howell; four brothers, Willis, Charles, Tommy Joe, and Robert Edwards. He is survived by one sister, Peggy Shumock;  one daughter Tammy Edwards; three sons Richard, Troy, and Tony Edwards, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
