Juanita Marie Jackson, 77, was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi and was a resident of Moss Point, Mississippi for the last 42 years before passing away on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Singing River Hospital. Juanita was employed as a welder at Ingalls Shipyard for 21 years.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Catherine Jones Jackson and Joseph Alphonse Jackson; three brothers, Joseph A. Jackson, Jr, Johnny (Ora) Jackson, and Robert (Bobby) Jackson; grandson, Michael Jackson; two sisters, Catherine Regina LaSalle and Imogene Slay; and two maternal grandparents, Henrietta (Faizon) Jones, and John Jones.
Juanita was survived by: three daughters, Jacqueline L Jackson, Yolanda D. Mosley, and Taris M. Jackson; two sons, Christopher V. (Michelle) Jackson and Bryan D. (Tasha) Jackson; three brothers, Charles (Norma) Jackson, Elliot (Winnie) Jackson, and Edward ( Clothia ) Jackson; nine grandchildren, Melody Jackson, Tempestt Jackson, Jasmine Jackson, Markquez Jackson, Shayla Mosley, Jalen Jackson, Cameron Jackson, Brayden Jackson, and Megan Jackson; six great-grandchildren, Psy'Quan Johnson, Gabriel Jackson, Dereon Allen, Sydney Fornett, De'Amond D. Bradford, and MAI Anjel Jackson; along with a host of friends and other family members that loved her dearly.
