Robert Bogdon Strother

Robert B. Strother, of Gautier, age 55, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. 

Robert is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Irina Tolmatchova Strother, and his father, Jesse Ernest “Jake” Strother.

He is survived by his adored wife; Keri Renee Strother, step-children; Lura Rowell, Jesse Rowell, Harley Rowell, Taylor Smith, and Randy Woods, his sisters; Susan E. Strother-Searcy and Mary A. Strother, his nephew; Sean Searcy, his nieces; Heather Searcy and Haley Searcy, and a great-niece and great-nephew.

He spent a decade in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle area) as a recognized arborist and extreme tree surgeon before returning to Gautier. In addition, he owned and operated a small residential services business for a number of years on this island of Oahu, Hawaii.

Robert was a man of deep faith, loyalty to friends, and he never met a good prank that he didn’t like.
