Alan Cox

Alan James Cox, 63 years of age, passed away June 19, 2024, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, due to a heart
complication. Alan was born on April 9, 1961, in Columbus, Mississippi, to Cecil Oliver Cox and Annalee
Marie Wiles Cox. He attended University of Texas from 1980 to 1987. Alan’s career included IBM, real
estate, banking, and Christian ministry. What he loved most in life was hunting, fishing, and studying
the bible. Quite often you could find Alan on the computer researching, and watching TV
documentaries.

Alan is survived by his two sisters, Marie Ann Cox of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Cynthia Ella Cox-Luntz,
of Katy, Texas, his Niece, Shannon Luntz; his Aunt Janet Cox of Memphis, Tennessee, and his cousins
Philip Cox, Stewart Cox, and Mark Cox; his Uncle Lee Schrievers, and Aunt Susan Schrievers, of Panama,
Nebraska, and his cousin Shanta Starns.
