Alvin Myers Jr.

Alvin Myers, Jr., 70 of Moss Point, MS passed away on September 22, 2025. He was born on March 10, 1955, to Alvin and Ella Rose Watson Myers, in Moss Point, Mississippi. 

After serving in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Myers worked as a general contractor. He will be remembered for his loving heart and generous spirit, and the deep love he had for his family. 

Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Ella Rose Watson Myers.

He is survived by his children, Ken Myers (Pico Rivera, CA) and Emma Myers (Hattiesburg, MS); his sister, Carolyn McClain of Palm Bay, FL; brothers, Calvin (Cathy) Myers and Lonnie C. (Jerry) Hopkins all of Moss Point, MS; four grandchildren, Darron Payton Jr., (Moss Point), Savion Myers (Pico Rivera, CA), Jacquez Piernas (Baltimore, MD), and Yumiko Jackson (Jacksonville, FL); niece and nephew, Jackie Hopkins and Agedrius Hopkins; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
