Amy Deblissa Carter, beloved daughter, mother, wife, and sister, left to be with our Heavenly Father on March 30, 2025. Born October 21st, 1978 to her mother Gay Scarbrough (Gregory), Amy lived her life to the fullest. As anyone who knew her would know, she was an amazing soul with a great sense of humor. Stubborn, hard-headed, and strong-willed - there wasn’t anything that would stop Amy from doing what she wanted to do. But she was also kind, patient, loving, and silly. She had a passion for life that showed through all her interests including music, cooking, movies, and reading. She had the biggest heart for service and there wasn’t a person or stranger she ever met that she wouldn’t have a plate ready for every night she could. She is greatly beloved by not just her family and friends, but her entire community. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Dalton Scarbrough, Sr. She is survived and greatly missed by the love of her life, Elvis Wells, their children Dekota Wells, Jayden Gregory, and Adelyn Gregory, her mother Gay Scarbrough (Gregory), her brothers Michael Gregory and Robert (Christy) Scarbrough, Jr, as well as many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. May we all strive to live a life of love and comradery like Amy did and to honor her memory by being kind to one another.
