Mrs. Annette “Tiny” Mitchell, age 87, peacefully transitioned to her Heavenly home on August 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 19, 1938, Sis. Tiny lived a life marked by compassion, faith, and unwavering service to others. Known for her giving heart and her ability to uplift anyone in need, she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and devotion that touched countless lives. Her strong and steadfast faith in God, paired with her witty charm and spirited tongue, will be remembered for generations to come.
She is now reunited in glory with her beloved husband, Bishop Robert Mitchell; her cherished daughter, Sandra F. Douglas; her brothers, Wilson Jr., James Herman Fagan, Robert Lee Fagan, and Dennis Leon Fagan; and her sisters, Sally Epps, Lottie Mae Chestang, and Brunetta (Sweet) Gildersleeve.
To carry forward her memory, she leaves her devoted sons, Leon (Janet) Borden and Curtis (Felicia) Borden; her precious grandchildren, Wendy (Aaron) Green, Isaiah (Bre) Sellers III, Trimeka (Derrick) Sherrod, Leah (Jonathan) Adams, Justin Borden, and Joshua Borden; and her great-grandchildren, Dejon Fagan, Makenzie Adams, Kealani Adams, Kasondra Fagan, Josiah Fagan, and Dangelo Townsel. She also leaves behind nine beautiful great-great grandchildren, her dearest best friend and sister in the Lord, Sis. Vassie Hollins, and her extended daughter, Tammy (Allen) Logan.
Her presence will also be deeply missed by a host of loving relatives and friends who cherished her dearly.
