Betty Gortney Obituary

Mrs. Betty Rose Gortney, a native of Fairdale, Kentucky and a resident of Moss Point, MS for the past 46 years went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 20, 2020, while at home surrounded by family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie H. Gortney, Jr of 47 years; her mother Dora Ethel Hinton and father, Roscoe Hinton, Sr.; sisters, Mary Jane Barr, Dorothy Lea Barr, and Edith Juanita Hutchens.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Denise Kline; a brother, Roscoe Hinton, Jr.; a sister, Alma Francis Oakley; and two grandchildren, Lesley Ann Kline and Christopher Paul Kline; along with other family and friends that will miss her dearly.
