Beverly Card Jr. Obituary

Jeff passed away on April 27, 2022 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He was born in Mobile, Alabama but grew up in Lilburn, Georgia. Jeff attended Parkview High School, but graduated at Marion Academy and received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia. Jeff started his career in Atlanta, Georgia with Bally’s Holiday Fitness. He spent many years in the Food and Beverage Business in Atlanta, GA, Mobile, AL, and Orange Beach, AL. Later in life he worked in the construction business in Mobile and Baldwin Counties.

In his spare time, Jeff would rather been in the woods hunting in Citronelle, Alabama,  fishing or boating in Wolf Bay, Terry Cove, Bayou St. John or the Gulf of Mexico, or watching Georgia Bulldogs play football or baseball. Jeff was the biggest Georgia Bulldog fan in lower Alabama. He bled Red and Black.  Jeff never met a stranger. He loved life and live it to the fullest. Jeff was a huge music lover especially live music. He had attended several hundred Widespread Panic Concerts.

He was preceded in death by his brother Stephen Card, his uncles, William Card Jr. and James “Tony” Linville, his grandparents Mabel Louise Jefferies Card and William Card Sr., Betty Pruitt Linville and James Anthony Linville.

Survivors include his daughter Adelaide of Navarre, Florida, father Beverly Jefferies “Jeff” Card Sr. of Mobile, Alabama, mother Peggy Ann Nance of Milledgeville, Georgia, brother Tim Card of Atlanta, Georgia, sister Jill Card Riner and Wes of Milledgeville, Georgia, nephew Drew Riner of Atlanta, Georgia, niece Sarah Riner of Milledgeville, Georgia, aunts Daphne James of Cape Elizabeth, Maine and Joan Marie Gilbert of Dacula, Georgia, all his cousins in the Card, Jefferies and Linville Families, his girlfriend Beth Krebs of Orange Beach, Alabama, his best buddy his dog Ziggy.  All his friends in Mobile and Baldwin County. His Parkview High School friends, all his Georgia Bulldog friends and his Hunt, Fish, Panic Family.
