Mr. Bobby Joe Mathis, age 81, was a native of Bolivar, TN, and a long-time resident of Perkinston, MS for 25 years, who went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, while surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Marley Mathis, and his mother, Freda Mathis; and his sisters, Linda Mathis and Betty White.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memories to his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Edith Mathis; his daughters, Patricia Whitestone and Tracey Day; his sons, Robert Mathis, Steven Mathis, and James Mathis; his grandchildren, Casey Armstrong, Krystal Perry, Cody Mathis, Chelsey Day, Taylor Day, Christopher Mathis, Devon Mathis, Stella Jager, Sarah Mathis, Steven Mathis Jr., and Donald Mathis; his great-grandchildren, Annabelle Mathis, Zailah Mathis, Robert Perry Jr., Kira Perry, Sadie Cano, Ellias Jager, Kaycee, Kaylee, and Athena Mathis; and a host of other relatives and friends that will all miss him dearly.
