CLARA NEWMAN Obituary

Clara Artimesia Hope Newman was one of five children born to Elsie Louise Newman and Paul Anthony Newman. She had four siblings, Linda Jeanne, and Ruth Mary, who are now deceased; a brother, Paul Anthony Newman Jr.; and she spent her last days with her sister, Brenda Ross. Hope had two children, Amanda Ludwig and Teri Newman, and four grandchildren: Michael, Cloud, Quinton, and Allison, whom she affectionately called "Cupcake". Hope was born on January 24th, 1958, and passed away in her home in Moss Point, MS, on April 5th, 2024, with her loved ones by her side.

Hope lived in Alaska for 24 years, where she pursued her passion for crabbing in the Bering Sea. Hope was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, and friend. I referred to her as my private sister because of her kind and caring nature. She loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own, and her great-nieces and great-nephews will always remember her as Aunt Hope. She was a blessing to all those who knew her, and she will never be forgotten. May she rest in peace now, with the good Lord up above. Fly high with the angels, Hope. You are so loved and missed.
