Carolyn Lightsey

On February 12, 2025, Carolyn Aletha "Kitty" Lightsey (Fulton) gained her wings and joined her loved ones in heaven. Carolyn was born on February 27, 1953. She was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed puzzles, fishing with her husband, and taking care of animals. She always had a sweet spot for dogs and cats. She was even known as Kitty by most of her friends and family. She was a member of Lake Homo Baptist Church in Bay Springs, MS and Lynwood Baptist church in Philadelphia, Ms. 

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Prentiss Eugene and Annie Dorothy Fulton, her brothers Raymond Fulton and Rivers Fulton and sister Gloria Alexander, as well as her grandchildren Kreed David Lightsey, Emersyn Alyse Lightsey, and Paityn Marie Lightsey.

Carolyn is survived by her husband John David Lightsey, her son Charles Edward Lightsey (Erica) of Pascagoula, her grandchildren Kyleigh, Kaelynn, Khloe, and Kharlie, her brother Robert "Bob" Fulton of Union, Ms, and many other family members and friends.
