Carroll Turner

Carroll Gene Turner, a man of profound devotion to his family and community, passed away peacefully at his home on March 6, 2026. Born on August 7, 1957, Carroll lived a life defined by his commitment to those he loved.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Diane Turner. Carroll was a proud and dedicated father to his daughter, Elizabeth Ryan Lehman of West Virginia, and his two sons, Carl Alan Bennett and Benjamin Adam Bennett, both of Gulfport, Mississippi. His legacy of love is further carried on by his four granddaughters: Jasmine Nicole Bennett, Kayden Debra Raso, Adalyn Sky Bennett, and Dani Caprice Bennett. He also took great joy in being a great-grandfather to Shae, Maisen, Blake, and Kaegan.

Carroll's memory will be cherished by his surviving siblings, Robin Lynn Crosby of Baxley, Georgia, and Danny Steven Turner of Alma, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Harris; his sisters, Sherry Ann and Karen Vivian; and his brother, Bobby Williams.

A man who touched many lives, Papa Bear will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
