On Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, Charles (Chuck) Edward Dottery Jr., was called home. He was born February 22, 1980, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and was the third child of seven children born to Nedra Williams and the late Bobby Louis Wright.
Charles (Chuck) Dottery was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church growing up. Later, he attended Community of Christ in Moss Point, Mississippi.
Charles (Chuck) attended West Elementary, Ed Mayo Jr. High, and Moss Point High School. Chuck had a zest for life. He loved traveling to New Orleans, Atlanta, Houston, and any beach. Chuck was the life of the party! He loved music, singing, and dancing. He was preceded in death by his fathers, Bobby Louis Wright and Charles Edward Dottery Sr.
He will be forever missed and loved by his loving mother, Nedra Williams, fifteen siblings, Shandra (Clint), LaGenda Ruffins, Reginald (Caroline), Salena (Cearly III), Cora McLemore, Christy Dottery, Patrick Williams, Alisha (Andrew), Nicollette (Kasmin), Gia (Joaquin), Genea, Daria (Damian), Byron (Annette), Lorin, and Danica (Carlos), along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A Memorial service will be held for Charles Dottery Jr. 1PM Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 4015 Kreole Ave., Moss Point, MS 39563.
The family would like to thank Deaconess Home Health, Davita Dialysis Center, and Singing River Hospital for the care given to our loved one during this time.
