Charles Turner Jr. Obituary
Mr. Charles James Turner Jr., age 74, a native of Caro, Michigan and a resident of Escawtapa, Mississippi for 3 years, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019, surrounded by family at Canon Hospice, Gulfport, MS. He was a member of Abate Region 7 of Michigan and retired as a security officer.
Charles is preceded in death by his mother, the late Mildred Marie Turner and his father, the late Charles James Turner Sr.; son-in-law, Kenny Dickerson; and great-granddaughter Katelyn Hammock.
He is survived by: his daughter, Lana Turner; sons, Chuckie (Beth) Turner and David (Janice) Turner; brother, Gerald Turner; ten grandchildren, Brandi (Buster)Hammock, Bo (Megan) Dickerson, Charlie( Tiffany) Turner, Terry Turner, Christina (Caylum) Johnson, Sasha Turner, Dasha (Tommy) Davis, Holly Smith, Shannan Ethridge, Shadrack Ethridge; twenty great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives who loved him dearly.
A celebration of Charles’s life will be held at 13611 Saracennia Rd Moss Point, MS on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at 3 p.m.
