Charles Randall “Randy” Hancock, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on February 26, 2026, at Singing River Hospital. Randy was born on February 27, 1959, at the original Singing River Hospital to Victor Charles Hancock and Verda Mae Sherman Hancock, the youngest of their children.
Randy graduated from Pascagoula High School and later became a talented carpenter, taking pride in working with his hands and creating things that would last. He had a deep love for Mardi Gras and found great joy in helping build and ride several floats for the New Orleans celebrations. Some of his happiest moments were spent surrounded by friends and family, especially during the many barbecues he hosted at Bluff Creek. Randy will be remembered for his generous spirit, easy laughter, and the genuine friendships he cherished throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents; his brothers, Charles Richard Hancock and Kenneth “Kenny” Ray Hancock; his sister, Betty Stockman; and his niece, DeLena McCloud.
He leaves behind his loving sister, Virginia “Ginger” Hancock Langer; his nephew, Jeffrey Langer; his niece, Casey Satterfield; and many dear friends whose lives were made brighter by knowing him.
Randy’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
