DOROTHY KLINE

Dorothy Louise Kline, 78, of Pascagoula, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on
May 19, 2025, at her home with family. Known for her delicious dishes, kind
heart and quick wit, she will be sorely missed, she left a lasting impression on
everyone who had the joy of knowing her.

Dorothy was born on November 18, 1946, in Tunnel Springs, Alabama,
to Henry and Arvelia (Stallworth) Colley. She was the eldest of eleven siblings,
Henry Edward, Ben Gary, Calvin Louis, Julia Yvonne, David Lynn, James
Terry, Mitchell Alston, Malcolm Arnez, Reginald Miquel, Rodney Myron, and
Arnita Michell.

Dorothy spent her formative years growing up in Alabama before the
family moved to Moss Point, MS, where she finished primary and trade school.
After graduating Dorothy helped in rearing the last six of her siblings, worked in
many areas before settling into the Medical as well as Child Care fields.
On January 2nd, 1972, Dorothy married George Kline and moved to
Cleveland, Ohio where she lived and raised her own family. She had three
children Sedric Kornell Colley, Marcus J. Kline and daughter She'Ar L. Kline.
Later Dorothy and George studied the bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses and
enjoyed what they were learning. After some time, they both dedicated their
lives to Jehovah and were baptized as Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 30th, 1979,
in Richfield, Ohio. Thus began many years of sharing bible truths with other.
She was active in the ministry right to the end enjoying the carts with her special
group of sisters.

Dorothy found joy in simple pleasures: gardening, caring for her
flowers, and hosting Sunday dinners with friends and family. She was a doting
grand and great-grandmother, a thoughtful friend, and a beloved sister. Her
sense of humor and constant jabs kept the mood light and optimistic, despite
her own health concerns.

Dorothy is survived by her son Marcus (Tavitta) Kline of Garfield
Heights, Ohio, siblings, brothers Mitchell, and Malcolm (Angelia) Colley of Moss
Point, MS, brothers Reginald Colley of Dallas, TX, Rodney (Charmaine) Colley, of
Savannah GA and sister Arnita Henderson of Pascagoula, MS. There is a large
extended family of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, too
many to name on this occasion.

Dorothy was preceded in death by both of her parents, Henry and
Arvelia Colley, her husband of 50 years George L. Kline, daughter She'Ar Kline,
and son Sedric Colley. Also, preceding her in death, were brothers, Henry
Edward, Ben Gary, and Calvin Louis, sister Julia Henry, brothers, David Lynn,
and James Terry Colley.
