Daryl Cedric Wallace was born in Monterey California on August 28th, 1958 to William Monroe and Muriel Ann Wallace. He was one of eight children.
Growing up, Daryl was a very smart kid and because of this, his teachers had to find creative ways to challenge him with school lessons.
Eventually, Daryl went on to graduate from Locke High School. Following graduation, he worked at a daycare center, and also worked at Figueroa Elementary, before joining the United States Navy.
Daryl settled down in Mississippi where he lived and worked, and soon met Mrs. Hill and the Hill family, who quickly became an extension of the family.
Later in his life, Daryl accepted Christ, and became a member of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He was working and learning under Pastor Jerome Fisher and as a result, he even wrote a couple of sermons.
Daryl was preceded in death by his parents, Muriel Ann Wallace and William Monroe Wallace, and siblings Cynthia Patricia Gardner and Reginald Leander Wallace.
Daryl leaves behind to mourn him his two children, Annisha and Daryl Wallace Jr., and siblings Che'rie Wallace, William Wallace, Ronald Wallace, Terrance Wallace , and Robert Wallace. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
