David Lee Gillette

Mr. David Lee Gillette was a native of Muscatine, Iowa and a resident of Vancleave, Mississippi.  At the age of 72, on January 29, 2023,  David passed away while surrounded by family.  He was a man of many talents that owned K & B Pools for 36 years and the White Elephant Restaurant.  He enjoyed fishing and scuba diving with Larry and Betty in his spare time.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence John Gillette and Ruth Arline Gillette and two brothers, Larry Gillette and Johnny Gillette.

David is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sharon Gillette of Vancleave, MS; children, Scott Gillette of Pascagoula, MS and daughter, Jamie Gillette of Muscatine, IA; grandchildren, Seth Gillette of Muscatine, IA, Sierra Gillette of Vancleave, MS; three sisters, Kay (Dan) Pfeifer of Burlington, IA, Phyllis (Danny) Beik of Donnelson, IA, and Barbara (Curtis) Blom of Burlington, IA; along with many other family and friends that will miss him dearly.
