Deborah Eppling Harrell, age 68, of Helena, MS formerly of Vermilion, OH passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 14, leaving behind a family who love her deeply and miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Clarence Eppling; brothers Okey and John Eppling; and grandson Braxton Brown.
Deborah's memory will be cherished by her children, Shira (Robert) Coleman; Charlotte (Joe) Laney and Avery Harrell II; beloved grandsons, Trey Harrell and Brendan Brown, all of MS; sister, Pamela (Greg) Kelly of Amherst, OH; sister-in-law Jackie Eppling of Kaneohe, HI; nieces, Christina (Devon) Biere and Gina (Kenneth) Jones, both of Lorain, OH; Natalie (Danny) Chaung of Harrington Park, NJ; and Melissa (Chris) Galindo of Waikoloa, HI.
A devoted member of Ridgelea Heights Baptist Church, Deborah's deep faith carried her through six years of serious health challenges, which she faced with quiet strength and determination.
She will be remembered for her gentle voice, steady presence and ability to keep her composure.
Deborah met life head-on. She never shied away from a challenge and handled even the hardest moments with grace. Deborah found peace and happiness in tending her vegetable garden, and it brought her great joy to share her harvest with friends and neighbors.
After more than 30 years of service as a forklift operator, she retired from Northrup-Grumann in Pascagoula, MS.
Deborah will be laid to rest near her parents at Maple Grove Cemetery in Vermilion, OH.
