Dennis Hand

Dennis Hand was born on September 26, 1951 In Bogalusa, Louisiana. He passed away peacefully on October 26, 2024 in Mobile, Alabama surrounded by loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents John & Dorris Hand and a brother Johnny Hand. 

Dennis lived his life to the fullest especially the last 23 years with the love of his life Nancy Hudgins.

Dennis and Nancy met in 2001 and have been inseparable ever since. Their blended family includes 6 children, Jessica (Jason) Glaude, Miranda Cunningham, Larry, Mike and Jeffrey Holcomb, and Phillip Brown all of Pascagoula. Together they share 13 grandchildren, Jason Jr., Jeremiah (Bob), Sydney, Abby, Emily, Justin (Hannah), Allyson (Tyler). Kaitlyn, Meradith, Ashleigh, Joshua, Sean & Marilynn; 6 great-grandchildren, Kollin, Brody, Brice, Brooks, Jackson & Lydia. He is also survived by three siblings, Barbara Rasmussen, Lee Hand, Dorris Johnson, and several nieces and nephews. Daddy and Karen Wilson held a special place in his heart, that he loved to make red beans and rice for. Along with his beloved dog, "Toodles; of 12 years. If you knew Dennis you loved him. He had a heart of gold. The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and doctors at USA Hospital in Mobile, Alabama and Legacy of Hope in Birmingham, Alabama.
