Douglas Gaston Obituary

Douglas Richard Gaston native of Oregon and resident of Ocean Springs, MS. passed away on Sunday,
March 27, 2022. He served his country in Desert Storm as a U.S. Merchant Marine. He loved all things
surrounding water, boats, and restoring vehicles. Doug was a funny, friendly, and likeable person that
people were automatically drawn to. There was nothing he couldn’t master when he set his mind to it.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Gaston of 23 years. His parents, James and Sharon Gaston of Ocean
Springs, MS. His 3 daughters, Ashley Gaston, Kerrie Gaston, and Karlie Gaston, and 2 sons Justin (Trey)
Kimbrell (Ashley), Drew Kimbrell. He has 8 grandchildren, Ryan, Stormi, Jensen, Marlee, Rylie, Jameson,
Jasper and Aylin. His brother, James Gaston of Washington State and his sister, Becky Lindsey of
Houston TX. He is also survived by his niece Morgan Markos (Adam), his nephews Avery Cummings
(Lucy) and Harrison Lindsey, and 1 great nephew Ethen Lindsey. Many other relatives and friends,
including his best friend, Byron Smith.
