Eunice Carol (Pals) Rudd
March 6, 1931 – April 26, 2024
Eunice Carol (Pals) Rudd went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 26, 2024.
Eunice was born on March 6, 1931, to Lambert and (Augusta Kleinstick) in Bruce, Wisconsin. She was the next to the youngest child of 6.
Eunice was a 1948 graduate of Ladysmith, WI High School.
Eunice became a Stenographer for the FBI under the direction of J. Edgar Hoover, after high school graduation. She traveled to many cities throughout the US with many interesting stories/pictures to tell/show about this journey in her life.
Eunice worked alongside her Coworker/ Best Friend, Mary Ann (Rudd) Monson, during this time traveling with the FBI. After a weekend invite/trip home with Mary Ann to Illinois to meet Mary Ann’s family, she met the love of her life Donald Rudd, Mary Ann’s brother.
In 1957, Eunice married Donald Rudd of St. Charles, Illinois. They built a home in Geneva, Il and had 3 sons Warren, Duane and Alan.
Don’s career later took them to several different states.
After many years, Eunice/Don felt the Lord calling them to ministry. Eunice and Don enrolled in Rhema Bible College, Tulsa, Oklahoma and both became ordained ministers.
In addition to this, eventually they ended back up in Illinois. In Illinois,
Eunice owned her own Advertising Business along with being a housewife/mother.
Eunice loved spending time with her family and travelling, especially with Duane, Peggy and Luther. One of her favorite travels, however, was a trip with her sister, Marjorie to Italy. It was to visit Susie/Robert Curtis, her niece, and her husband, who at the time was stationed in Italy. This story was told many times to all as one of her all-time favorites.
Eunice especially loved baking cookies/cakes/pies and making her favorite recipes for her family and friends. The tradition was still carried on in her later years with assistance from Duane and Peggy. A tradition that will be continued on by them.
Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, Lambert and Augusta (Kleinstick) Pals, her husband, Donald, her 2 sons, Warren Rudd, Alan Rudd and her siblings/spouses, Harley (Joan) Pals, Robert (Marcella) Pals, Virginia (Erv) Landers, Audrey Ortiz and her sister-in law, Mary Ann (Daniel) Monson.
Eunice is survived by her Son and Caregivers, Duane (Peggy) Rudd and son, Luther of Naperville, Illinois, whom she had resided with for the past 6 years, Sister- Marjorie Schell of Greenwood Village, Colorado,
Daughter In Law- Cathy Rudd of Merriam, Kansas, Her Godson- Jimmy (Constance) Pals and family of Port Washington, Wisconsin. Her special
friend and 2nd son as she always called him, Brian Gilligan, Canyon Lake, Texas.
Eunice is further survived by her grandchildren, Luther, Melissa, James, Thomas, Amy, Allison, Andrew and Rachel along with several great grandchildren, and many nieces/nephews.
A special Thank You to Carla, Crystal and Brandon for the care/love given to our mother in her final days.
A Private Family Service and Internment will be held at a later date.
