Eric Beans

Eric Donta Beans, affectionately known as Donta, passed away on March 12, 2025, in his hometown of Pascagoula, Mississippi at the age of 51. He was born on September 7, 1973, in Pascagoula to his loving parents, Dersena Kimble and Lewis Beans. Sadly, he is now reunited with his mother, father, brother, Raymond Dukes; maternal grandparents, Mack and Annie Lou Kimble; and mother-in-law, Shari Johnson in the eternal peace. 

Donta survived by his wife of six years, Julia M. Beans;  two daughters, Natasha Beans and Kourtlynn D. Thigpen; two sons, Domonick Upshaw and Eric Donta Beans Jr.; stepkids,  Jasmine Moore, Kaila Hodges, and Ricky McCoy; five brothers, Austin Burton, Jeffery Beans, Jimmy (Selena) Beans, Lewis(Cassandra) Beans Jr, and Labarron McGee;  four sisters, Katherine (Rickie) Glenn, Nekkita Beans, Deanna Beans, and Patrica Beans;  sister-in-law, Glenys Duke; four grandchildren, Dayton Upshaw, Dylan Upshaw, Messiah Upshaw, and Isaiah Upshaw. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, always putting his family's needs above his own.  

Donta was a pillar of his community, always willing to lend a helping hand and make a positive impact on those around him. His warm and generous nature touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

In his free time, Donta enjoyed simple pleasures like spending time with his family, laughing with friends, and giving back to those in need. His personal traits of love and selflessness made him truly special, earning him the admiration and respect of all who crossed his path.
