Ervin Tompkins

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Ervin Louis Tompkins of Lucedale, Ms.   Ervin was born September 2, 1938 and died at the age of 85 on December 26, 2023 at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, Ms.

In his earlier years, Ervin was a member of the police force, served in the military, and  loved to race cars. He was an electrician, a carpenter and many other trades in his life.  In later years he owned and retired from owning his own construction company.

He was the son of Fredrick Louis Tompkins and Celeste (Lessie) Tompkins. He had two sisters and three brothers- Alice Poole, Ethel Sieminskie, Lanny Tompkins, Jessy Tompkins and Edward Tomkins.

He was the father of 5 children-James, Jeffrey, Kenneth, Mark & Betty. Along with his children, he has left behind many nieces, nephews and friends .
