Gene was born in Savannah, Ga., and passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side in Lucedale, Ms. He was preceded in death by his father Forrest Eugene McCard Sr and brother Robert Matthew McCard.   

He is survived by his loving wife Kelly Diane McCard and his 5 children Wanda Nicole McCard, Robert Matthew (Kelli) McCard, James Pyron (Nikki) McCard, Damien Alexander McCard, and Derrick Anthony McCard; Grandchildren Hailey Alyssa Pulido, Sara Elizabeth (Austin) Thompson, Ricardo (Chop) Pulido, Dawson McCard, Bailey McCard, Kelsey McCard; Great-Grandchildren Gabriella Aleaha Urbina, and Isabella Elena Thompson; his mother Ramona Oxford and sister Susan McCard.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

Gene worked and drove for Manning Trucking, Miller's, and Presley's Garage. 

There will be no service but a celebration of his life at a later time. 

He is loved by many and will be greatly missed. Till we meet again my love....
