Frances Rogers

Mrs. Frances Carolyn “Fran” Rogers passed away at home on Tuesday, May 31, 2022; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and mentor. She has gone home to be with our Lord.  Fran was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and a member of the Community of Christ and Freedom Christian Fellowship. She was involved with Celebrate for Recovery for over 39 years and did jail Ministry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Rogers; both parents, Earl and Mamie Borries; daughter, Verna Brown; great-granddaughter, Kayla Rogers; great-grandson, Ryder Vice; sister, Laura Mae McMillan; and brothers, James, Leonard, and Jerry Borries.

Fran is survived by her loving sons, Barney (Jan) Rogers, David (Shelia) Rogers, Charles (Helna) Rogers, and Joshua Rogers; daughters, Wanda (Ricky) Jobe, Dana (Wesley) Shows, Johnnie Neely, and Linda Heider; sister, Lucy McMillan; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
