I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
On Monday, November 27, 2023, at approximately 9:30 am at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS, Sis Francile W. Nelson gave up her earthly home to dwell in the presence of her Savior. She was the fourth child of four siblings born to the late Clarence (Bate) Warren and Lora Dee (Lewis) Warren.
She was a devoted, faithful, and lifelong member of Union Chapel A.M.E. of Kentwood, LA, where she sung her praise as a member of the senior choir and upon moving to Mississippi, she became a member of Doris Street COGIC of Moss Point, MS. She will be greatly missed by all, but her kindness and Christian personality will linger in our hearts and memories forever.
She leaves to cherish her memories a son, Timothy C. Nelson Jr. of Newport News, VA; three daughters, Erica L. Nelson of Metairie, LA, Farrah D. Warren of Clarksville, TN, and Egypt D. Warren of Pascagoula, MS; ten grandchildren, Tishara Hicks and Tanesha Hicks; TaShayla Warren, Taniya Nicholes, Tylan Nicholes and Anthony Steptoe Jr.; Luna Grace Carey; Lorenzo Nelson and Rockquel Thomas; one great-granddaughter Normandy. She leaves behind a loving sister Lucinda W. Broughton and brother Lensly Warren, a special niece Carolyn Warren Robinson, special cousins (God sisters) Antionette and Shirley Warren, a loving friend Charles Burkhalter, and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Warren, a sister Leontyne W. Broughton, a granddaughter Talora S. Nicholes, and a special cousin Shelia L. Lewis.
