It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Harrison, Sr., who departed this life on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the age of 62. Frank was a cherished resident of Moss Point, Mississippi, and a true free spirit whose warmth and laughter touched all who knew him.
Born on August 18, 1963, in Mississippi, Frank lived a life deeply connected to the waters of the Gulf Coast. A dedicated and hardworking man, he spent many years as a commercial fisherman with Omega Protein, where the open sea became his second home and his vocation. He approached his work with a sense of freedom and passion that defined his character.
Frank was a man of simple pleasures and deep devotion to his loved ones. He will be remembered for his independent nature, his loyal heart, and the unwavering love he held for his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Frank Harrison, Jr., and his lifelong companion, Carla Wells. Frank is also survived by a host of beloved siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Frank was preceded in death by his loving mother, Lula McDougal.
