Tommy was born February 12, 1963 in Chicago, IL to the late Hemmon (Jeanette Frazier) Thompson Sr. and the late James D. “Lucky” Hayes. His family moved to Cleveland, MS where he graduated from East Side High School, C/O of 81’. Tommy relocated to MS Gulf Coast and worked several jobs before starting his career with The Descher Organization. He accepted Christ and was baptized in 1987. After 40 years of dedicated service with McDonalds, he retired. On any given day, you could find Tommy spending time with his family, attending church, fishing, and scrapping.
Tommy leaves to cherish his memories: wife of 20 years, Sedra Gibson-Thompson; like a mother, Lillie Wilson; daughter, Anndrea Gibson; goddaughter, Jalesa Armstrong (Dequontis Saul); godson, Antonio (LaKeeta) Armstrong; son-in-law, Stefan McGill; grandchildren, Khaden, Kyza, and Indi McGill; sisters, Ina Bolling, Paulette (Robert) Collins, Vickie Gail Smith, Faye Carter, Vera Goodloe, Jennifer Brown; brothers, Marcus (Lisa) Williams and Harry Carter; best friend, Cortier (Theresa)Thomas; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and co-workers.
