Ila Jean Ellison

Mrs. Ila Jean Ellison, was a native of Vancleave, MS and a resident of Ocean Springs, MS for the past 2 years.  On Sunday, July 16, 2023, Ila transitioned from this earthly world to her eternal resting place.  

She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Richard Ellison; father, Murry Holden; mother, Julia Virginia Holden; brother, Wayne Holden; sister Sylvia Wilson; and son James Bayliss.

Ila is survived by her loving daughters, Virginia Grooves, Myra Bayliss, and Julia Wetherington; brother, Charles Holden; sister Charlotte Brag; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
