India Ashley Williams

India Ashley Williams was born in Pascagoula, MS, on July 7, 1988.  India was the second of three wonderful children born to Shadric and Virginia Williams of Moss Point, MS.  She was a native of Moss Point; whereas, she graduated from Moss Point High School in the top 10 percent of her class.  Shortly afterward, she attended Talladega College in Alabama graduating with honors receiving her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree.  She was also, a dedicated sister of the sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA).  India was employed as a dedicated Behavioral Therapist for autistic children.  She was truly compassionate about her work and enjoyed welcoming the children she worked with into her home on holidays that were alone.

She leaves to forever cherish her loving memories: her father and mother, Shadric and Virginia Williams; her sister, Marlo (Kevin)  Michaud; her brother, Shadric (Brianna) Williams II; her two nieces, Emerald Michaud and Ireland Michaud; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and classmates who will miss her dearly.

India was a dedicated Christian of the Baptist faith that lived her life to the fullest.  She was a very sweet, supportive, honest, loving, courageous, and dependable woman with a sincere heart. We will miss you terribly, our daughter and our beautiful intelligent sister.  Your memories and spirit will always be embraced with great love in hearts.
