Janet Kay Buchanan

Mrs. Janet Buchanan, age 63, was born December 03, 1957, and passed away on Monday, July 05, 2021, while at home surrounded by family.  She was a veteran of the United States Army.

She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 44 years, William K. Buchanan, two daughters, Janette Michelle Powell and son-in-law, Michael Powell), and Jennifer Lindsay Buchanan; one son, Christopher Shawn Buchanan; her father, Robert McCord, Jr., and mother, Hazel V. McCord; one brother, Robert W. McCord; one sister, Cindy Buchanan; and six grandchildren, Courtney Buchanan, Nathan Buchanan, Bradley Buchanan, Kaitlyn Buchanan, Ethan Watkins, and Timothy Watkins; and a host of other relatives and friends that all miss her dearly.
