John David Hand “Johnny”, 75, of Pascagoula, MS, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.  Johnny was born on August 13, 1947 to the late John William Hand and Doris Davis Hand in Bogalusa, LA.

Johnny proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for years as a welder and later as a self- employed contractor. He loved spending time with his family and most especially his grandchildren. Upon his retirement you could often find him drinking cold Miller Lite and hanging out with his friends at the Outrigger or Roy’s.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Victoria Hand, daughter, DeAnna J. (Jeff) Cook, son, John David Hand, Jr., son, Raymond “Rocky” A. (April) Hand, and daughter, Christina E. Hand; grandchildren, Tyler Hand, Amber Raines, Shawn Hand, Austin Wade, Lauren Hand, Hunter Delmas, and Daniel Hand; brothers, Dennis Hand and Walter L. Hand, sisters, Dorris Johnson and Barbara Rasmussen; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and special family, Wendy Pittman Hough and Mark Wade.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Guardian Angels Funeral Home in Pascagoula, MS. Interment will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS with Tyler Hand, Shawn Hand, Austin Wade, Hunter Delmas, Jeff Cook, and Timothy Weaver serving as pallbearers. Bro. Wendall Stork will pray.
