John Wesley Tibbits was born on December 30, 1956, in Michigan. John was a resident of Big Point, MS for the last 35 years, where he peacefully passed at home. Johnny was known as one of the best small engine mechanics. He was employed by John Deere and Transplant Outdoor Power as well as Underwood Small Engine for the last 30 years.
Johnny was one that helped anyone with their small engines, as long as you would give him a long talk in his garage. He was just as funny as the stories he told. Johnny was a wonderful and faithful son and brother and a true friend to many.
He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Tibbits and dear mother, Margaret Lewis.
Johnny leaves to cherish his memories to, his sisters Margaret Brooks (Ed Griffin) of Vancleave, MS and Deborah Lambert of Pascagoula, MS; brother, Donnie Tibbits of Baldwin, Michigan; special friends, Joey and Barbara Dunnam, Woody and Diane Goff, Rendil Hoskins, Danny Brinkman, and Eddie Mason; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He will be sadly missed.
