Jonathan Michael Thorne Caldwell

Jonathan Michael Thorne-Caldwell, a devoted son, loving brother, and generous friend, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 7, 2025, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, at the age of 27.

Born on December 26, 1997, Jonathan grew up in Pascagoula, where he was known for his kind, smart, and adventurous spirit. Jonathan was truly the type of person to just give. He lived by a heartfelt philosophy, always ensuring the person next to him was okay before tending to himself. His funny and warm personality endeared him to everyone he met.

Jonathan worked diligently for quite some time at Popeyes, where he was a familiar face. Outside of work, he enjoyed two main passions: He loved traveling. Just walking or riding a bike somewhere, and enjoying his life. Also, cherishing time spent with his friends.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his loving maternal grandmother, Debra Jones, and his grandfather, Bruce Mitchell.

He leaves behind a loving family who will miss his presence deeply. He is survived by his mother, Chevy Thorne, his biological father, Rickey Caldwell, and his stepfather, Kevin Thorne. He was a beloved brother to his sisters, Ashleigh Scott, Brittany, and Kaylee, and his brothers, Aaron, Branden, and Kevin Jr. Jonathan was a proud and doting uncle to his nieces and nephews, Chloe, Mitchell, Mia, and Colson.

Service Details

Family and friends are invited to attend a Service/Visitation to celebrate Jonathan's life and pay their respects on Saturday, November 15th at 2:00 p.m. at Guardian Angels Funeral Home, 2034 Old Mobile Ave., Pascagoula, MS 39567.
