Obituary
Joseph “Joe” Ernest Guillory, age 54, of Moss Point, MS (formally of Louisiana)
departed this life on Saturday, July 22, 2023 in Ocean Springs, MS. He was also known
as “Ernie” by immediate family.
Joe was born on July 10, 1969 in Opelousas, LA to the late Susan Fuselier and Joseph
Fabuis Guillory, Jr. and was married to the late Shirley McGlothlin Guillory.
Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Joseph Christopher Guillory and Joseph Daniel
Guillory; step-daughter, Rebecca McGlothlin (Caleb); grandchild, Waytt Christopher
Guillory; step-grandchildren, Paige Hill, Reagan Hill, and Dakota Hill; step-mother, Sandra
Hebert Guillory; sisters, Monica Lanclos (Dexter) and Janalyn Patin (Brandon); brother,
Jeremy Guillory (Kristi); and a host of other family members and friends.
He was an independent contractor who did construction, plumbing, and masonry. He was
the “neighborhood handy man” and had the knack of being able to repair anything. Joe
enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. He had a love for animals especially his cat, “Little
Momma”.
Private arrangements have been made and a celebration of life will be held at a later
date.
