Mrs. Judy L. Witherspoon Williams was born to Leroy and Dorothy Witherspoon on November 27, 1963. She transitioned from this earthly world on September 17, 2020, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Judy was the youngest of ten children and was educated in the Pascagoula School District. After 15 years of service, she retired from the U.S Army in which she served proudly.
Judy was an active member of Right Way Church of God in Christ, Huntsville, Alabama, until her health failed. While at Right Way COGIC, under the leadership of Pastor Jesse Draper, she was ordained Deaconess Missionary. Judy was an extremely passionate woman who God gifted with a heart of kindness.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Leroy and Dorothy Witherspoon; brothers, George Calhoun, Thomas Fleming, and Leon Foster; sister, Betty Wade; and grandchild, Aamir Haynes.
Judy is survived by: her three devoted children by whom she will be lovingly missed, Gregory Haynes, Angelica Francis, and Douglas Francis; her siblings, Ester Rushing, Hubert Earl Foster, June (Ronald) Green, Arthur Witherspoon, and Bessie Boykin; her aunt, Johnetta Witherspoon; her grandchildren, TaLynn, Demetrius, Tevin, Daleisha, Tessa, Xavion, Emanuel, Kameryn, and Aiden; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who loved her dearly.
Judy will be remembered for her giving and loving spirit.
