Mrs. Kathy Ann Werner, a native of Jonesboro, AR and a resident of Gautier, MS for the past 35 years went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 28, 2020 from home with her husband. She was a 42-year member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also spent decades teaching young people as a leader in the Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and as a Seminary Teacher for the Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Mae Scarborough, her father Henri Samanie, brother William Elroy Hano Jr., sisters Pamela Marie Becht, and Susan Kaye Addy.
She is survived by her husband, Richard George Werner of 48 years; one daughter, Melissa Dawn Werner; three sons, Timothy Michael Werner, Richard George Werner II, and Christopher Kimball Werner; her sister, Sandra Jean Guillot; her brothers, Joel Emory Scarborough and James Mark Hano; and her grandchildren, Margaret Rose Werner, Trace Michael Werner, and Tobias Leeandrew Werner; along with her daughter-in-law Rebecca Leigh Werner, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
