Our beloved Kawana TaNeal Crawford, known affectionately as Wooly, left an unforgettable mark on everyone she encountered. With a heart as big as her smile and a laugh that could light up any room, she was the life of every party. Despite life's challenges, she faced each day with unwavering confidence and a spirited determination that inspired us all.
Kawana loved fiercely and unconditionally as a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and granddaughter. With confidence and fearlessness, she tackled life's difficulties head-on, never shying away from a challenge or apologizing for her opinions. Her bold personality and sharp wit could diffuse any tension, while her unwavering loyalty made her a steadfast support for those who knew her.
Kawana was also a source of comfort and a safe haven for those in need. Her generosity, compassion, and kindness touched countless lives, and her remarkable ability to turn obstacles into opportunities demonstrated her strength and resilience.
She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, devotion, and unshakeable optimism. Kawana was a shining light in the lives of those around her, and her passing leaves a void that can never be filled. Although she may be gone, her legacy will live on in our hearts, inspiring us to be stronger, bolder, and more compassionate.
She is survived by her daughters, Nishylee Crawford and K’Lanii Webb; Mother, Tabatha Ross; Father, Clifford Crawford; Step Father, Jesse Ross III; Fiancée, Kezwic Webb; sisters, Keyera (Karius) Holmes, Nittaya (D’Vonte) Holmes, Taelar Crawford, Tai'ya Crawford; Brothers, Damarcus Edwards and Tyiler Crawford; Grandmothers, Carolyn Holmes and Janice Harris ; and a host of many other family and friends that will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Arlie O'Neal Holmes; grandmother, Lucille Palmer; and grandfather, Clifton Crawford.
