Kintarus D. Tate was born on October 1, 1980 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to L.B. Hilton and Debra Ann Tate. Sadly, he passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023. He was raised and educated in Moss Point, Mississippi, and later attended high school and Job Corps in Georgia. Kintarus was a lifelong resident of Moss Point, where he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a gifted young man, a hard worker, and an expert in lawn care, which he generously used to help the elderly and others in need. Kintarus worked for several years in his profession.
Kintarus was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Tia Tate; his parents, L.B. Hilton and Debra Tate; grandparents, Curtis Tate, Mattie Jane Brookshire, and Virgie and Lillie Mae Hilton; and a great aunt, Lady B. Fairley.
He is survived by his only son, Demario Cain-Tate; his sisters, LaTasha Tate and Etheria Tate-Wheat; his nieces, India Tate, Germany Tate, Yasmeen Wheat , lyanna Wheat, and Carol Jean; his nephew, Bennie L. Nettles Jr.; his great-niece, Kelani-Rose Nicole McGee; those who he had fatherly love for Kintarus Tate Jr., Jasmine Tate, and N. Tate; a special uncle, Chauncey Brookshire; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends that will miss him dearly.
