Kristen Lagerstadt

Kristen Lagerstadt, 57, (she would say 21) was predeceased by her parents and eldest son, Seth Chaves. She is survived by her son Adam Chaves, 3 siblings, and many friends. She was a loving mother and a dedicated friend. Her friends and family would describe her as incredibly smart, funny, loving, protective, and beautiful inside and out. Her talents included rescuing and training German Shepards, sarcasm, making jokes out of dark situations, and making her family the best pancakes and Turkey Dinners (even though she openly hated cooking). She was a Brockton native and worked hard to better her life for her children. Kristen came from nothing and achieved so much. She worked for everything she had, overcoming all obstacles thrown her way, nothing could keep her down. She bought a house in Rumford RI on the water, a dream she always had. It was a place where her friends and family could enjoy coming together. In 2022, she moved to Gautier, MS, to a beautiful home where there was a room and kayak for everyone, a place of her own she deserved to enjoy. The sadness of her passing will be felt for a lifetime. May she rest in peace knowing how much she was loved.
