Lee Nall

Lee Daly Nall Truax, 82, of Moss Point, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026. Born in Watsonville, California, Lee was a remarkable woman whose life was defined by strength, generosity, and an unwavering independence. Her journey was marked by resilience, compassion, and an enduring love for her family and community.

Affectionately known as "Gypsy," Lee earned her Paralegal Associate degree and had a successful career in real estate. She found joy in gardening and painting, both of which reflected her vibrant spirit. Lee had a deep commitment to animal welfare, caring for feral cats and actively supporting rescue efforts, demonstrating her compassion for the vulnerable and often overlooked.

Known for her fierce spirit and heart of gold, Lee consistently put the needs of others before her own. Her extraordinary kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Family was at the center of her life; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her immense joy and were the light of her life.

Lee was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles William Truax.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Caprice (Christopher) McKelvey; her son, Dwight Stroud; her granddaughter, Kerrisa Ariel Tapp, and great-grandson, Colton Tapp; her grandson, Alex Clayton Carr, and spouse, Lexi Carr; as well as her great-grandson, Oliver Carr, and an expected great-granddaughter. A believer in one true God, Lee followed her personal spiritual path while maintaining a loving relationship with her faith. A private family service will be held in her honor.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Furbaby Network of Mississippi or the Humane Society of South Mississippi. Lee will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
