Lenro “Junior” Williams, Jr., was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Lenro A. Williams, Sr., on
January 2, 1947. A native and life-long resident of Pascagoula, MS, he passed away in the early morning
of Friday, November 23, 2018, at Singing River Health and Rehabilitation Center in Moss Point, MS.
Lenro was a long-time member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. For over a decade, he was
employed by Pascagoula High School as a custodian. Among his hobbies were drawing and carpentry.
Lenro was preceded in death by his father, Lenro A. Williams, Sr., his mother, Delphine C. (Gildersleeve)
Williams, his niece, Leenah K. Tatum, and great-niece, Kihanna L. Jones.
Left to cherish his memory are: his four sisters, Clarice (Gene, Sr.) Cherry of Moss Point, MS, Lois
(Darnell) Tatum of Purvis, MS, Linda J. Williams of Pascagoula, MS, and Phyllis E. Williams of Gautier,
MS; his four brothers, Thomas E. Williams of St. Elmo, AL, Jerry (Wanda) Williams, Sr., of Gautier,
MS, John (Mary) Williams of Grand Bay, AL, and George L. Williams of Pascagoula, MS; and a host of
nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
